Matt was born and raised in Somerdale, New Jersey. He attended Triton High School in Runnemede, NJ and Upsala University in East Orange, NJ. In both high school and college, Matt was a standout athlete in wrestling and football. Prior to joining the Brandywine Country Club, Matt spent twelve years at Medford Village Country Club in Medford, NJ. There his many roles included Head Bartender, Dining Room Manager, and Food and Beverage Manager. Matt has also worked for Little Mill Country Club and Pine Hill Country Club, both in New Jersey. When not at work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and coaching scholastic wrestling. |

Mary Kate Chrzanowski is proud to be a new addition to the Brandywine Country Club family. Mary Kate was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She attended Ursuline Academy grade school, and graduated from Archmere Academy and Villanova University. Mary Kate has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. Prior to joining the Brandywine Country Club, Mary Kate was a manager at Bank of America (formerly know as MBNA). When not at work, Mary Kate enjoys coaching volleyball and basketball at Ursuline Academy, and relaxing with her family at their beach house in Rehoboth Beach.

Lisa Bolin has joined Brandywine Country Club as the Director of Corporate and Membership Sales. Lisa has over 8 years of sales and management experience. Prior to joining the staff at Brandywine Country Club, Lisa led a sales team in both the wireless industry and corporate housing industry. She is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. She now resides in Pike Creek, Delaware with her husband Tommy and son Tyler. Her favorite past time is watching her son play sports and spending time with her two dogs Bella & Buster. |

Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Chef Jim Sturgeon! Jim is a native Delawarean and has been cooking for over fifteen years. Jim was the Chef De Cuisine at the Hilton of Patriots Point in Charleston, South Carolina, was the Executive Sous Chef at the Fresh Meadows Country Club in Long Island, New York, and most recently was the Executive Chef at Food Source in Greenville, Delaware. Jim specializes in Ice Carvings, Melon Carvings, and Elaborate Displays. In his spare time, Jim enjoys playing golf and spending time with family. Jim looks forward to meeting all of our members and cannot wait to delight all of our members with his special brand of culinary magic! |

:: PGA Master Professional |
After working as an Assistant Golf Professional at Chester Valley, Whitemarsh, Cedarbrook and Aronimink, George was named Director of Golf at the Ramada Downingtown Inn Resort which was located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. He served in that position for 13 years. He has been the Head Professional at Brandywine Country Club for the past 22 years. He developed, owned and operated Mac's Golf Center, a full service driving range, miniature golf and teaching facility. He has been a member of the PGA for 37 years and he became the 50th Master Professional in the country in 1988. George has served the Philadelphia Section PGA for 15 years and served as President of the Section from 1998 to 1999. He is a three time winner of the PGA Merchandiser of the Year award and was named Golf Professional of the Year in 1989. George has attended every PGA Teaching and Coaching Summit and has worked with some of the best teachers in the country, including Hank Haney, Jim Flick, Dave Petz, Paul Runyon and Manuel de la Torre. |

:: Associate Golf Professional |
Michael graduated from Vineland High School in 1990. He then graduated from Florida State in 1996 with a B.S. in economics. He received his golf training at the Golf Academy of the South and received extensive training in teaching, golf shop operations, rules, merchandising and club fitting. Michael has worked at Brandywine as an Associate Professional since 2003. His responsibilities include overseeing all operations of the golf shop, customer service, staffing and teaching. Michael has organized and administered the very successful Brandywine reciprocal play program during construction of the new golf course. His immediate goals are to become a member of the PGA and a Head Professional at a private country club. Michael and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Newark, Delaware. |

:: Golf Course Superintendent |
Doug has been the Golf Course Superintendent as Brandywine Country Club since the winter of 2004. He was hired to research, plan and execute the golf course renovation project. After the successful grow-in and opening in May of 2006, Doug’s primary responsibility is now coordinating all golf course management activities as well as assuring compliance with regulatory agencies. A native of western Pennsylvania, Doug graduated from Penn State with a B. S. in Turfgrass Science and minors in Business and Recreation and Parks Management. He currently resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania with his wife Jacy. Prior to Brandywine, Doug was the Assistant Superintendent at Huntingdon Valley Country Club and Doylestown Country Club. He has had tournament experience at the Masters, Senior PGA Championship, LPGA Championship, US Amateur, and the Sprint International. He is currently pursuing certification with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

:: Golf Course Assistant Superintendent |
Daniel was born and raised in southeast North Carolina and now resides in Pike Creek. He has lived and worked on both the coast of eastern North Carolina and the mountains to the west of the state. He began his career at Blowing Rock Country Club as Second Assistant and then took the Second Assistant position at the prestigious Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, North Carolina. Daniel has now joined our staff to further his experience and education in the turf management field. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and music. |

:: Office Manager |
Andrea oversees all the financial operations and data processing of the Club as Office Manager. She has been employed at the Brandywine Country Club in that capacity for over 30 years. She has a degree in accounting and data processing. A native Delawarean, she now resides in Elkton, Maryland. She has two grown children, a son and a daughter, and five grandchildren. Her interests and hobbies include sewing, gardening and going to Lewes, Delaware.

Glenn Harmon has been Director of Maintenance at Brandywine Country Club for the past year and half. He has had over thirty years experience in various fields of maintenance and welcomes the challenges of a country club. Glenn feels privileged to be associated with a dedicated team such as we have here at Brandywine. He is looking forward to a long relationship at the country club which will compliment the good years he has experienced in the past.

:: Tennis Professional |
Brandywine Country Club has recently hired Simon Peppiatt as its new Head Tennis Professional. Simon has been a Teaching Tennis Professional for over 20 years. Most recently, Simon spent 8 years as Tennis Director at Overbrook Golf Club. At Overbrook, Simon hosted Martina Navratilova and Lisa Raymond, and also ran many USTA Tournaments. Simon is a member of the U.S. Professional Tennis Association and has ranked as high as second in Middle States 35’s and Number One in Philadelphia 35’s. Some highlights of Simon’s tennis career include serving as the Director of the Mainline Men’s and Mixed Tennis Leagues, Director of the Philadelphia Open, and Director and Chairman of the 2003 Paddle Tennis Nationals. Simon has also coached Ladies USTA, USTA Ranked Juniors, and several collegiate ranked players. Simon resides in North Coventry, PA with his wife Tracy, and 2 children Devynne (age 6) and Sean (age 3). The Brandywine Country Club is thrilled to have Simon join their management team. |
